Yes! You can feature sponsor logos throughout the virtual showcase, ensuring they are always visible and clickable alongside student projects. This maximizes their visibility, boosts brand awareness, and provides ongoing engagement opportunities beyond your in-person event.
How can I get started with setting up a showcase on ProjectBoard?
To get started, sign up for an account on ProjectBoard and click Create Showcase – that’s it! It’s free to get started, and if you like the look of our optional extras, you can upgrade to a paid subscription at any time.
How can ProjectBoard help ensure students don’t plagiarize?
At ProjectBoard, we prioritize academic integrity and honesty above all else. That’s why we are excited to announce that we are developing a plagiarism detection report feature that will enable you to quickly scan and flag projects that require further review. This valuable tool will be available by the end of the year!
How can students protect their data and IP when sharing their projects virtually?
As an admin, you have the authority to determine what project information must be uploaded to ProjectBoard for a complete submission for your fair. Once you approve a project for public viewing, however, the student has the freedom to choose which sections they want to showcase. For instance, if a student is required to upload an abstract, a video, a full presentation, and a detailed methodology, they can decide to display only their abstract and video. Ultimately, the student has the final say in how their project is presented online!
How does ProjectBoard fit with my existing event registration system?
Great question! ProjectBoard isn’t an event management platform so we’re not replacing your registration system, but we’ve been seamlessly added to the registration process in numerous STEM events around the world. If you collect project information during your registration system, we might be able to replace that step! If you don’t currently showcase student projects, we can easily tack on to the end of your process – the benefits of a virtual showcase to support your event are worth it.
